About the Lake Park West Homeowners Association
The Lake Park West Homeowners Association is made up of all the homeowners who share in our beautiful community of twenty-four condominium buildings. In addition to our residences, the Association maintains several garage buildings, a recreation lodge, a maintenance garage, and other shared spaces—including our roads and landscaped areas.
Each homeowner owns their individual unit, which includes the interior living space and any attached patio or balcony. While patios, balconies, and attics are part of the shared property, they are for the private enjoyment of the resident. Every owner also holds a shared interest in all common areas throughout the property, meaning we all collectively care for and enjoy the entire community together.
Because these common areas are shared, any exterior changes—such as adding a flower garden or new landscaping—must first be approved by the Association’s Architectural Control Committee. This helps us keep the community looking its best and ensures that all improvements follow our shared standards.
When you become a homeowner at Lake Park West, you also become a valued member of the Association. Membership means agreeing to follow our community’s guidelines, which include the Articles of Incorporation, the Declaration, the By-Laws, and other rules that help keep Lake Park West a great place to live.
